WLE has a chorus group that will be part of a mid year show this winter. We have a lot of wonderful singers and can't wait to see them shine this year. All students will be preparing to sing in various performances such as, and not limited to, the Holiday Show, Peace Day Rally, and end of the year concert. Students will be given the chance to complete for spots in the Superintendent's Honors Music Festival that takes place in the Spring. They may also be able to participate in field trips that feature professional singers, opera groups, and choral ensembles. Auditions for Chorus took place on September 13 and September 14, 2018. Show and practice information was released to parents.

Students will have the option to select from violin or cello. Everyone is encouraged to learn at WLE. We will practice in class if you've got your violin or cello. Email our music teacher for details on where to get your instruments. Those that want to participate in the Strings Group will have a chance to complete for spots in the Superintendent's Honors Music Festival that takes place in the Spring. Along with various field trips aimed to expose them to phenomenal professional string musicians, students will be constantly be immersed in an inspiring environment. Auditions for Strings took place on September 13 and September 14, 2018. Show and practice information was sent home.

Glee Club is a program offered for After-School care students. Created as a freer extension of Chorus, this select group will be expected to perform in many events such as, and not limited to, the Holiday Show, Peace Day, and end of the year concert. They will also be able to participate in field trips that feature professional singers, songwriters, and musical theater shows. Auditions were held on September 11 and September 12, 2018. Show and information on club was sent home.
